  • Title: Ovarian pregnancy with ipsilateral mature cystic teratoma of the ovary: case report.
Author: Feltingoff M, Heller DS, Bleiweiss IJ.
Journal: Mt Sinai J Med; 1992 Jan; 59(1):82-4. PubMed ID: 1734246.
    Abstract:
Ovarian pregnancy is a rare form of ectopic gestation. Mature cystic teratoma is the most common form of germ cell tumor, and usually occurs in the reproductive age group. The concomitant occurrence of an ovarian pregnancy with a mature cystic teratoma in the same ovary is exceedingly rare. We were able to find two other such cases in the literature. We present a case, and discuss the entity.
