Title: Pandemic influenza and pregnancy: a call for preparedness planning. Author: Beigi RH. Journal: Obstet Gynecol; 2007 May; 109(5):1193-6. PubMed ID: 17470605. Abstract: With the emerging infectious disease threat of pandemic avian influenza, obstetricians should be aware of the disproportionate morbidity and mortality documented among gravidas in the twentieth century pandemics. In addition, suggestions for basic pandemic planning efforts are reviewed.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
