  • Title: [The use of bio-controlled electrostimulation of the respiration in the combined modality treatment of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis].
Author: Bentsianov AD, Dmitrevskaia ESh, Belilovskiĭ EM.
Journal: Probl Tuberk; 1991; (9):40-2. PubMed ID: 1749756.
    Abstract:
Electric respiration stimulation (ERS) synchronized with the onset of spontaneous breathing is more effective than induced one. Introduction of the biocontrolled ERS into the treatment and prevention of respiratory complications in the postoperative period improved the effectiveness of surgical treatment of phthisiopulmonologic patients. The biocontrolled ESR is known to provide favourable results in the multimodality treatment of patients with pneumonia, chronic bronchitis and bronchial asthma.
