Author: Guarro J, Mendiratta DK, De Sequeira H, Rodríguez V, Thamke D, Gomes AM, Shukla AK, Menezes F, Narang P, Roldão Vieira J, Gené J. Journal: Diagn Microbiol Infect Dis; 2007 Sep; 59(1):85-8. PubMed ID: 17532593. Abstract: Acrophialophora fusispora is a soil-borne fungus, which is emerging as a human pathogen. Only four cases of human infection had been described previously. Since this fungus has been misidentified in several other cases, it is probably more frequent than first thought.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
