  • Title: [The wave structure of the stroke volume and RR-interval oscillations in the low wave range of the heart rhythm].
    Author: Kovalenko SO, Tokar SI.
    Journal: Fiziol Zh (1994); 2007; 53(2):36-40. PubMed ID: 17595909.
    Abstract:
The spectral power of the RR-intervals and stroke volume (SV) oscillations in the range of 0.04-0.15Hz was estimated among 252 men aged 17-28. The maximum peak frequencies of RR-intervals spectrums and SV were significantly increased by loadings. There is a tendency to higher frequency of RR-intervals spectrum peaks in comparison with SV spectrum peaks. There are two waves on the diagram RR-intervals spectrum power at the state of rest and at tilt test testifying about two mechanisms of their formation. All the waves are in the range of 0.06-0.12Hz for RR-intervals and 0.05-0. 11 Hz for SV.
