PubMed ID: 1769859. Abstract: The case of a 82-year-old lady with acute abdominal pain is reported. Intraoperatively we find a ruptured aneurysm of the splenic artery. Splenectomy with resection of the aneurysm is performed. An overview of the newer literature is presented.
