His extraordinary work has many priorities in microbiology, immunology and histopathology. He did not belong to a certain school. He taught himself. But Victor Babeş joined the group of the great European doctors from the most famous European schools. He created well known professors in the field of human and veterinary medicine. Admirers, people who deny his accomplishments, historians and communist spokes-persons have written about him. He wrote about himself when he was forced to protect his dignity and his work.
