Title: Intramural haematoma of the aorta presenting as fever of unknown origin. Author: Cheng CC, Lin CY, Han CL. Journal: Acta Cardiol; 2007 Aug; 62(4):409-11. PubMed ID: 17824303. Abstract: The clinical presentation of aortic intramural haematoma resembles aortic dissection in many aspects, but the underlying pathophysiology is quite different. The patient underwent surgical repair of the diseased aorta successfully and the fever resolved shortly after the operation.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
