Abstract: A large body of literature stresses the role of experiential avoidance as a developmental and maintenance factor of many forms of psychopathology including post-traumatic stress disorder. For the first time, the current study examined the relationship between experiential avoidance and war-related post-traumatic symptoms. 123 students in Kosovo who reported war-related experiences took part in this study.
