Abstract: The Namaste Care Program is designed to provide meaningful activities through therapeutic touch, music and life review to nursing home residents with advanced dementia. This program has improved resident care, staff and family satisfaction while increasing census. Namaste Care is easy to initiate and does not require additional staff or expensive supplies. The experience of one long-term care company EPOCH Senior Living of Waltham Massachusetts USA which offers Namaste Care in their skilled nursing facilities is explained.
