PubMed ID: 180824. Abstract: Cranial CT proved exceptionally accurate in detecting and localizing cerebral neoplasms in children, with only one false negative case in 40 tumors. CT had its greatest diagnostic value in cerebral and cerebellar hemispheric lesions, tuberous sclerosis, and as a screening device for craniopharyngiomas.
