  • Title: [Psoas bladder hitch procedure. Apropos of 20 cases].
Author: el Mrini M, Bennani S, Benjelloun S.
    Journal: J Urol (Paris); 1991; 97(7-8):321-5. PubMed ID: 1811024.
    Abstract:
The authors report their experience about 20 cases of psoas bladder hitch performed on 17 women and 3 men. The indications were pelvic ureteral traumatism (10 cases), tuberculous ureteral stenosis (6 cases) and megaureter (4 cases). The technique is described. Recovery was uneventful in the majority of cases, and delayed complications were rare (one case of vesico-ureteral reflux). The results were encouraging, classified in three groups: good results (86 per cent), medium results (7 per cent) and bad results (7 per cent).
