Title: Case report: ciliary body melanoma with extrascleral extension. Author: Wilcox TK. Journal: J Am Optom Assoc; 1991 Jul; 62(7):529-32. PubMed ID: 1813556. Abstract: Uveal melanoma is an uncommon cancer that is most often diagnosed in the sixth decade and is somewhat more common in males. Early detection and treatment of melanoma is important as metastasis can be fatal. Signs and symptoms that may lead to the diagnosis of uveal melanoma are presented, as well as lesions that may simulate extrascleral extension of melanoma.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
