Title: [Blatella germanica as a sensiting factor, and cause of allergic rhinitis in a group of our patients]. Journal: Srp Arh Celok Lek; 1994; 122 Suppl 1():87-8. PubMed ID: 18173199. Abstract: Most up-to-data data from the literature, as well as our experience gained during the routine clinical practice, led us to investigate the incidence of sensibilization on the cockroaches, as well as its role in development of allergic rhinitis. The study included 46 patients with chronic rhinitis. Out of that number, 11 were sensibilized to cockroach extract, while in another 8 senzibilized patients, allergic rhinitis, induced by the same allergen, was evidenced as well. According to this study, we have concluded that in our conditions, cockroach is to be considered significant factor of sensibilization which is to be included into the standard set of inhalation allergens for skin tests.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
