Abstract: Pituitary Apoplexy (PA) is associated with the sudden onset of headache, visual symptoms, altered mental status, and hormonal dysfunction due to acute hemorrhage or infarction of the pituitary gland. PA is one of the most serious life threatening complications of pituitary adenoma. We report a 48-year-old male who woke lip with the worst headache of his life and was found to have an infarction of a pituitary macroadenoma.
