Abstract: Sarcomas arise in any part of the body, in any age group. Some sarcomas have a particular predilection for the pediatric population, and often bear specific chromosomal translocations. These "pediatric" sarcomas still occur in adults, often times with higher risk of dying of disease compared to children with a comparable diagnosis.
