Abstract: Persistent left superior vena cava (SVC) is an uncommon condition, usually encountered during cannulation of the left subclavian vein. We describe a patient who required a cardiac device upgrade to cardiac resynchronization implantable cardioverter defibrillator for biventricular failure.
