Title: [The optimal system of ambulatory examination of groups with high risk of tuberculosis at a large industrial plant]. Author: Khudushina TA, Altynova MP, Sagirova GM. Journal: Probl Tuberk; 1991; (5):10-3. PubMed ID: 1833750. Abstract: Tuberculosis incidence at the KAMAZ plants was studied in 1985-1989. It was the highest at the foundry plant and in the age group of 20-29 years at the automatic-assembly plant (39.9 and 64.4 per 100,000 of man-year of the follow-up, respectively) with 73.9% of the patients being males of all occupations. The proportion of patients was high among the adjusting fitters aged 30-39 years (40.4%) and founders (36.3%). Hence, males aged 20-29 years working at the foundry and automatic-assembly plants and adjusting fitters and founders aged 30-39 years can be considered as a peculiar risk group of tuberculosis.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
