Title: [Evaluation of external respiration in the girls and women of the European north]. Author: Varlamova NG, Evdokimov VG. Journal: Gig Sanit; 2008; (1):16-9. PubMed ID: 18365448. Abstract: The purpose of the study was to determine external respiratory function in adolescent and adult females (n = 492) aged 15 to 79 years who lived in European North (62" NL), by using a spirograph with a SPM-01-"R-D" microprocessor. The results were statistically processed by the F-test. The adolescent and adult females residing in the European North were found to have a hyperventilation syndrome, decreased respiration rate, increased tidal volume, vital capacity, and forced vital capacity.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
