Title: [Changes in the superslow brain potentials and the ECG during the health resort treatment of patients with combined cerebrovascular and coronary insufficiency and cervical osteochondrosis]. Author: Velikanov II. Journal: Vopr Kurortol Fizioter Lech Fiz Kult; 1991; (4):8-12. PubMed ID: 1838846. Abstract: Combined sanatorium treatment involving diadynamic and sinusoidal modulated currents was performed in 166 patients with clinical triad. ECG and omega brain potentials were recorded in 86 of them. Adaptive self regulation of the functions was found inhibited in 51.2% of the examinees. In the end of the treatment 53.7% of the patients exhibited positive shifts in neuroregulatory mechanisms of adaptation. ECG readings improved in 39.5% of those treated. Diadynamic and sinusoidal modulated currents promoted the recovery of the adaptive functions at hypothalamic and reticular formation levels.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
