Abstract: NovW, novU and novS genes have been characterized as dTDP-4-keto-6-deoxy-D-glucose 3-epimerase, C-5 methyltransferase and dTDP-glucose 4-ketoreductase, respectively involved in noviose biosynthetic pathway. We have cloned and expressed the Streptomyces spheroids novWUS genes in S. venezuelae YJ003-OTBP1.
