Title: [Proteolytic enzymes--a highly sensitive criterium for effectiveness and safety of treatment]. Author: Efremenko IuR. Journal: Biomed Khim; 2008; 54(2):179-83. PubMed ID: 18522219. Abstract: The effect of ozonated saline on proteolytic enzymes: trypsin, chymotrypsin, elastase, kallikrein, leucine aminopeptidase, inhibitors of proteolysis and lipid peroxidation has been investigated. Injection of ozonated saline led to significal response of proteolytic system. Ozonated saline with low ozone doses produced a positive effect on proteolytic system. High doses of ozone produced significal reinforcement of proteolytic system and the decrease of alpha1-antitrypsin and alpha2-macroglobulin activity in blood plasma. Therefore, analyses of proteolytic activity can be used as indicator of effectiveness and safety of ozonetherapy and others treatment programms.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
