Abstract: Osteiod osteoma is a small, benign, osteoblastic tumor, which usually affects the long bone of the lower extremities and vertebrae. Herein, we report the first case of endo-orbital osteoid osteoma. A 22-year-old man presented with eyelid edema, proptosis and pain in the left eye 1 year after the beginning of the symptoms. Imaging studies showed a small (15 x 11 mm in size) lesion on the roof of the left orbit with contrast enhancement. The lesion was removed and histopathological section was consistent with osteoid osteoma. Eighteen month after the operation, the patient was free of symptoms.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
