Abstract: Human toxocariasis can result from the inadvertent ingestion of embryonated eggs of Toxocara canis or Toxocara cati from environmental sources such as dirt, sand, or foods carrying contaminated soil. We report a case in an infant resulting in eosinophilic meningitis and prolonged fever.
