MATERIAL AND METHOD: We present our personal findings on 117 patients admitted in the Ist Neurological Clinic, laşi with hemorrhagic stroke of the thalamus. RESULTS: Transcortical aphasia for the left-sided strokes and anosognosia or hemi-neglect were among the most prominent clinical features, especially for large thalamic hemorrhage.
