Title: [Benign pancreatic hyperenzynemia or Gullo's syndrome]. Author: Gullo L, Lucrezio L, Bassi M, Nesticò V, Migliori M. Journal: Recenti Prog Med; 2008; 99(7-8):367-71. PubMed ID: 18751616. Abstract: Benign pancreatic hyperenzymemia is a newly identified syndrome characterized by abnormal increase in serum pancreatic enzymes in absence of pancreatic disease. Although the condition is persistent, the enzyme elevations fluctuate considerably, even temporarily returning to normal levels at times. In this paper the main characteristics of this syndrome are described.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
