Abstract: Malacoplakia, a rare inflammatory lesion, afflicts the genitourinary system in most cases. A 22-year-old women had a recurrence of urethral malacoplakia that had been excised 5 years earlier. The recurrence was accompanied by staphylococcal infection in the urinary tract.
