Title: Novel sesquiterpene and coumarin constituents from the whole herbs of Crossostephium chinense. Author: Wu Q, Zou L, Yang XW, Fu DX. Journal: J Asian Nat Prod Res; 2009; 11(1):85-90. PubMed ID: 19177244. Abstract: Novel sesquiterpene, named crossostephin (1), and coumarin, named biscopoletin (2), together with four known compounds, artesin, tanacetin, scopoletin, and scopolin, were isolated from the 70% ethanolic extract of the whole herbs of Crossostephium chinense (L.) Makino. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic methods, including IR, UV, EIMS, HRFTICRMS, 1D and 2D NMR spectral analyses. Both scopoletin and scopolin were isolated from the title plant for the first time.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
