Abstract: Unsuccessful pulmonary artery catheter removal is a rare but potential life-threatening complication. This was observed in a dog during investigations on cerebrovascular reactivity. Postmortem examination showed entrappment of the pulmonary artery catheter in tricuspidal valve.
