Title: Acute onset of chronic aortic dissection presenting as abdominal pain. Author: Yuan SM, Tager S. Journal: Kardiol Pol; 2009 Feb; 67(2):168-71; discussion 172. PubMed ID: 19288380. Prompt surgery is mandatory for such patients in order to prevent abrupt rupture. The awareness of possible aortic dissection is the key point leading to an early diagnosis in patients with atypical presentations.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
