Abstract: Viral myocarditis may have various clinical presentations, sometimes mimicking acute myocardial infarction or ischaemia. We describe the case of a young man presenting with acute heart failure, who had electrocardiographic changes suggesting myocardial ischaemia and an episode of sustained ventricular tachycardia.
