Journal: Kyobu Geka; 2009 May; 62(5):391-4. PubMed ID: 19425381. Abstract: A 58-year-old man with a complaint of a feeling of fullness and constipation was admitted to our hospital. Enhanced computed tomography (CT) images demonstrated sacral aneurysm with multiple penetrating atherosclerotic ulcer (PAU) at the abdominal aorta above the renal artery. The aneurysm was expanded for 2 weeks progressively. An urgent thracoabdominal aorta replacement was performed. Pathological findings showed that the media of aorta was destroyed and dissected, and intramural hematoma was found. The postoperative course was good.
