Title: Ultrasonically guided fine needle pyelography. Author: Hancke S. Journal: Scand J Urol Nephrol Suppl; 1991; 137():49-51. PubMed ID: 1947841. Abstract: A method for ultrasonically guided fine needle pyelography is described. The procedure involves puncture of the renal pelvis with a long (150-200 mm) 0.8 mm needle which is subsequently bent and fixed to the skin. Puncture of the calyceal system can be performed even in cases of very mild dilatation and contrast medium for detailed radiologic investigation injected. The procedure is simple, safe and inexpensive and it has been performed on 49 patients without complications.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
