    Abstract:
Cor triatriatum is a rare congenital anomaly in adults. The left atrium is devised by a fibro-muscular membrane. It is usually detected in infancy or early childhood, although some cases remain undetected until adult life. As a consequence of trans-membrane flow obstruction, the clinical features often mimic mitral stenosis. We describe an adult patient, in whom this anomaly was diagnosed in 55 year of life.
