Title: [The effect of substitution plasmapheresis on the hemodynamic parameters in pregnant women with late toxicoses]. Author: Khanimov MA, Gushchin IV. Journal: Anesteziol Reanimatol; 1991; (4):32-5. PubMed ID: 1952235. Abstract: Central hemodynamic parameters were studied in 39 women with late toxemia of pregnancy subject to substitution plasmapheresis. The use of this technique of extracorporeal detoxication in a complex therapy of late toxemia of pregnancy was shown to have a definite positive effect on basic hemodynamic parameters manifested in a persistent decrease of the total peripheral vascular resistance and blood pressure as well as in an increase of the stroke volume and cardiac output. The above changes promote to normalization of organ blood flow and systemic circulation leading to the improvement of the renal function.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
