Title: [Genetics and hypertension]. Author: Ellervik C, Tarnow L, Pedersen EB. Journal: Ugeskr Laeger; 2009 Jun 08; 171(24):2012-5. PubMed ID: 19523364. Abstract: Monogenic forms of hypertension are very rare, but have a well-characterized heredity. Primary hypertension is very common with a complex and polygenic heredity. Intense research is ongoing and includes the use of modern genetics methods as genome wide association and linkage studies.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
