Title: Acute renal failure due to acute pyelonephritis. Author: Jones BF, Nanra RS, White KH. Journal: Am J Nephrol; 1991; 11(3):257-9. PubMed ID: 1962673. Renal papillary necrosis was an apparent complication, which the patient may have been predisposed to by alcoholism. Although rare, acute pyelonephritis is an important consideration in the differential diagnosis of acute renal failure because of the need for specific therapy.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
