Title: Care in the air: bringing the wounded closer to home. Author: Cornelius M. Journal: Plast Surg Nurs; 2009; 29(3):165-8. PubMed ID: 19752684. Abstract: Aeromedical evacuation (AE) is a system within the Air Force to provide patient care in the air during transport between levels of care. This article presents my experiences flying AE in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom/Enduring Freedom.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
