CONCLUSION: Reproductive concerns are important to young breast cancer patients. Discussing these concerns and exploring options are crucial before beginning cancer treatment. IMPLICATIONS FOR NURSING PRACTICE: Reproductive effects from treatment can have a significant impact on the long-term health and quality of life of young women with breast cancer. Oncology nurses are a vital source to discuss concerns and explore options with the patient.
