The treatment of 300 microg/day of octreotide acetate was started. The symptom of obstruction, such as vomiting and nausea, caused by intestinal obstruction was suddenly controlled and the quality of life was improved. Octreotide acetate can be applied for the management of intestinal obstruction caused by metastases at the terminal stage of cancer.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
