Title: [Synthesis and identification of artificial antigen to the common moiety of some organophosphorus pesticides]. Author: Jiang P, Chen C, Li Z, He J. Journal: Wei Sheng Yan Jiu; 2009 Nov; 38(6):649-52. PubMed ID: 20047214. Abstract: OBJECTIVE: To develop an immunoassay for multiple residues of organophosphorus pesticides. METHODS: The generic hapten O, O-dimethyl-O-(4-carboxyphenyl)ester (HP) was synthesized by the reaction between O, O-Dimethyl phosphorochloridothionate and 4-hydroxybenzoic acid methyl ester, and then conjugated to bovine serum albumin (BSA) by active ester method for immunogens and ovalbumin (OVA) by mixed anhydride reaction for coating antigens. RESULTS: The hapten was synthesized successfully, which was characterized by MS. The coupling ratios were 15.6:1 (HP-BSA) and 16.2:1(HP-OVA), respectively, calculated by UV spectrophotometry. CONCLUSION: suggested that the artificial antigens could be used for production of broad specificity anti-organophosphorous pesticides antibody.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
