Title: Haemorrhoids during pregnancy. Author: Avsar AF, Keskin HL. Journal: J Obstet Gynaecol; 2010 Apr; 30(3):231-7. PubMed ID: 20373920. Abstract: Haemorrhoids are varicose veins of the rectum covered by mucosa at or near the anal canal. They are normally asymptomatic, can occur at any age and affect both males and females.
