    Abstract:
    Beside maternal, fetal platelet count is the essential parameter for the decision about the obstetrical management in ITP-patients in pregnancy. Evaluation of fetal platelet count contains different problems. Using heparinised capillary tubes in fetal blood sampling procedure, platelet aggregation occurs and therefore false low platelet counts are found, by the commonly used method of conductivity measurement. A recently observed case is reported.
