Abstract: A 62-year-old man awoke from aortic valve replacement surgery with a total loss of vision in his right eye and a temporal visual field defect in his left eye. Automated visual field examination confirmed a right-sided anterior junction syndrome, and a right-sided chiasmal infarct was demonstrated by MRI.
