Abstract: Electrohydraulic lithotripsy is a very useful method for fragmenting biliary stones and it can be used for endoscopic removal of difficult biliary stones. Acute afferent loop syndrome induced by enterolith is very rare, and surgical treatment is the usual choice for this condition. We describe a patient with acute afferent loop syndrome, which was induced by an enterolith after a Billroth II gastrectomy. We used electrohydraulic lithotripsy to endoscopically remove the enterolith.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
