Title: [Relationship between the volume and proportions of the organoids and cell volume in yeasts]. Author: Kazantsev EN. Journal: Tsitologiia; 1978; 20(1):109-13. PubMed ID: 206993. Abstract: Populations of yeast Saccharomyces carlsbergensis and Candida quilliermondii were divided into cell classes with different volumes. In each class volumes of nuclei, vacuoles and lipid incorporation were measured. With the increase of cell volumes, volumes of organoides increased too, but the relative volume of nucleus decreased, and the relative volumes of vacuoles and of lipid incorporation increased.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
