Abstract: A 6-year-old boy presented with a 1-month history of fever followed by abdominal distension, constipation and bilious vomiting for 2 days. The clinical impression was of intestinal obstruction. At exploratory laparotomy, there was an ileal perforation secondary to tuberculosis.
