Title: Oral neostigmine and lymphatic absorption in a myasthenia gravis patient on continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). Author: Chan PC, Tam SC, Cheng IK. Journal: Perit Dial Int; 1990; 10(1):93-6. PubMed ID: 2085592. Abstract: The effects of oral neostigmine on peritoneal lymph absorption and transcapillary and net ultrafiltration were studied in a myasthenia gravis patient on continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). Oral neostigmine decreased lymphatic absorption, but only up to a threshold dose. The effect on net ultrafiltration however was nullified to some extent by a concurrent decrease in cumulative transcapillary ultrafiltration.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
