Title: [Clinical assessment of rotational digital angiography for the diagnosis of aortic dissection]. Author: Tajima H, Kumazaki T, Gemma K, Ito K, Kawamata H, Ebata K. Journal: Nihon Igaku Hoshasen Gakkai Zasshi; 1990 Dec 25; 50(12):1608-10. PubMed ID: 2089373. Abstract: Rotational digital angiography was performed in five patients with aortic dissection. Intimal tears, intimal flap and involvement of major branches were clearly demonstrated in two patients with opacified false lumen. Ulcer-like projections were also identified in three patients with thrombosed false lumen. The device has, therefore, been found to be of great value in diagnosing aortic dissection particularly for the detection of intimal tear sites and ulcer-like projections.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
