Abstract: In women, breast cancer causes over one million new cases each year, of which about half occur in industrialized countries, however, is in developing countries like ours, where most deaths due to this cause. Currently, the breast cancer is the leading cause of death from malignancy in women over 25 years. The conclusions of the Third Review of the National Consensus on Diagnosis and Treatment of Breast Cancer are a guide for oncologists, mastologists and the medical community in general.
